I have a dream...
... for school holidays to be over.
... to be able to sleep in past 6.30am.
... for back-to-back chick flicks in my pyjamas.
... to be able to eat more donuts without getting more fat.
... for Alan Jones to STFU.
... for world peace, good health, no hunger, long happy lives and all that jazz.
... to be able to actually have a dream without a small children waking me up.
... to be sitting poolside at a resort somewhere, anywhere, as long as there is an accompanying drink with an umbrella and fresh prawns.
... to sleep in, oh wait, I'm pretty sure I've already said that, but my kids keep asking for food and I can't ever finish a thought from the beginning to the end.
... to be able to finish a thought from the beginning to the end.
... for my kids to stop asking me for something to eat every 3.5 seconds.
... for fresh flowers, croissants and fabulous coffee delivered daily.
... that is a little too rude to write here.
... to be able to dream many dreams.
What are your dreams?
bigwords x

ReplyDelete... to finally get the rest of the house painting FINISHED.
ReplyDelete... to find the perfect place in the country and move.
... for Alan Jones to be thrown where the sun don't shine (and off the air)
... to be able to teleport overseas - my brother and his wife just had their second baby, a boy, today!
... for more time. To do everything!
Great post, B. I hope we both get to check off a few of those dreams one day soon! xx
See, all those fab dreams and all I can focus on is the one that's too rude to print!
ReplyDeleteMy main dream right now, the one that I would soapbox about is... to sleep the whole night through
That's it. That's my big dream.

Sleep? I have a 10 month old I don't even remember what it is like to sleep longer than four hours at a time.

Oooh, I love your dreams. I too dream of my kids not asking for something to eat every 3.5 seconds - I also dream of being a morning person, for it never being too early to drink bubbles, for kids to not be mean to each other - grrr - we've had a moment today, and on and on my list could go.
ReplyDeletemmm. I have similar dreams :) Many of them revolve around complete and utter silence, and a big juicy book that I can get my teeth into, listening to my own music, and no TV. at all. One day i will just throw that thing. Good coffee, a warm patch of sun, and good dark chocolate.
